Low Pressure Process Boiler

Tosca Ltd. approached Rasmussen Mechanical Services to design and install a low-pressure mechanical system for their process load. The project included a 1.6Mbtu low-pressure boiler, a domestic hot water storage tank, condensate return, and feedwater systems. To keep productivity at peak levels, the mechanical piping was design to deliver the driest steam possible. The boiler was fitted with a domestic hot water coil to reduce downtime when changeovers occur.
