300 HP Boiler Room Upgrade

Rasmussen Mechanical Services completed a 300 HP boiler room upgrade for Fremont Beef Company, replacing an aging 200 HP Hurst boiler with a new Superior Super Seminole boiler to support increased steam demand and improve system reliability. Our team managed the project from demolition through installation, startup, and commissioning. Shoutout to our Fremont boiler team for the great work!

Scope of Work Included:

• Removal of the existing 200 HP boiler, stack, and feedwater tank

• Installation of a new 300 HP Superior Super Seminole boiler

• Installation of a Weishaupt burner with VFD-driven motor and parallel positioning controls

• New gas train, control panel, and combustion safety components

• Installation of an Industrial Steam 300FS feedwater system with duplex pumps and atmospheric tank

• Automatic surface and bottom blowdown system with separator and aftercooler

• New boiler stack with integral damper

• Insulation of new steam piping, stack, and feedwater equipment

• Boiler startup, testing, and system commissioning

This boiler room upgrade provides Fremont Beef Company with increased capacity, improved efficiency, and a modern, code-compliant steam system designed for long-term operation.
