Charles E. Lakin YMCA Council Bluffs

Charles E. Lakin YMCA, Council Bluffs

Located just North of Kanesville Memorial in downtown Council Bluffs, we tackled a difficult project for the YMCA. We installed 16 DX (direct expansion) rooftop units, two (2) pool dehumidification units, and three (3) high efficiency condensing boilers. RMS was also responsible for all of the sheet-metal, mechanical piping, and control requirements for the project.

Mid America Center, Council Bluffs

We replaced two outdated chillers with four brand new 20,000-pound Evapco units, each capable of pushing 235,000 CFM. The original platform wasn’t large enough to support the upgrades, so our team came up with a plan to stack the new units on top of each other.
